As Lead Business Control at EDSN, you will guide data-driven decision-making in the energy transition
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make an impact at the strategic level? At EDSN you will lead the Business Control team and shape the transition to a full-fledged business partner role. Together with your team you will ensure that the operation performs optimally and the organization steers for value.

This is how you work as Lead Business Control full of energy
In your role, you will be responsible for the optimal functioning of the Business Control team. You will coach and mentor team members, encourage their professional growth and ensure a positive work environment.
You are the link between operations and strategy and have broad responsibility across multiple organizational units, including ARTs, Business Support, Front Office, Operations Support and CIO office. You give substance to Program Control and Portfolio Control and, with your team, provide management reports, business planning, business cases, scenario analyses and IT compliance.

  • Conducting development interviews and mentoring team members

  • Shaping the transition to a full business partner role

You bring
  • Minimum WO working and thinking level in financial or economic direction
  • Preferably supplemented by training as a Registered Controller
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience within Finance & Control
  • Experience with business partnering and organizational development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Critical attitude and well-developed reflective ability
  • Experience with leadership and group processes
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Experience within the energy market
  • Experience initiating and implementing improvements
