Are you ready to make a visible contribution to cleaner and smarter freight transport in South Holland? Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is looking for a Logistics Mobility Advisor to help companies in the Central Holland region to become more sustainable. You know how to inspire logistics parties to work more efficiently, cleaner and smarter with fewer emissions, fewer kilometers and more impact

Who is ZHB?
Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is a collaboration of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Department of Public Works, the Province of South Holland, the municipality of The Hague, the municipality of Rotterdam, Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority and ProRail.

Our main task is to improve accessibility in South Holland. To achieve this, we and our partners ensure that disruption during works is limited and we contribute to the sustainable mobility transition. We have about 100 people working at ZHB. That's a permanent base of about 30 employees and about 70 people in a flexible shell.

What will you do?
As Mobility Advisor Logistics, you will contribute to the transition to sustainable logistics within the Central Holland region. You will focus on logistics parties such as transporters, shippers, construction companies, logistics service providers and help them take steps towards fewer transport movements, cleaner transport and a more efficient chain. You will work within the area approach 'Duurzaam Bereikbaar Midden-Holland', in which we work together with municipalities and partners to structurally improve accessibility and quality of life. You translate data and analyses into practical advice, perform QuickScans at companies, develop interventions and help organizations to implement concrete measures. In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues from the employer approach, communication and the project team.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Identify and approach logistics parties in the region and advise on sustainable solutions.
  • Perform QuickScans at companies to analyze logistics processes and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop action perspectives and customized recommendations for businesses.
  • Design and implement interventions that contribute to behavior change and reduced emissions.
  • Collaborating partners within the area program.
  • Monitor progress and impacts through project dashboards and impact metrics.
  • Elaborate findings and actions into plans of action.
  • Record contacts, analysis and results in the CRM system.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the program and towards partners.

Job Requirements
  • HBO or university work and thinking level
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in mobility, logistics or behavioral influencing.
  • Experience with QuickScans, consulting to logistics parties and project-based collaboration.
  • Knowledge of sustainable logistics, urban distribution and relevant regulations.
  • Experience in an administrative or social context is a plus.

Good to know
  • 32 hours, negotiable schedule.
  • Hybrid working partly on location and partly from home. In 2026, we will move to Schiedam.
  • Hired for minimum period of 2 years; 2x extension possible.
