Role description and task arrangements

SAP Consultant Medior

Seeking for a self-starter, able to structure and act quickly in a new environment. Minimum level is Medior but preferably Senior.
Within Action we are looking for a functional finance consultant who can assist us with the following topics:
  • Conversion from MT940 to CAMT.053 for three house banks. Assist with the end-users with the user acceptance test and resolve defects.
  • Full Implementation of Fiori apps for the Treasury Department.
  • Full Implementation of the "SAP Market Rates Management" including the choice of market data provider.
  • Liaise and partner with implementation partner implementation of SAC Liquidity planner and perform the necessary FiCo task in the ERP backend.
  • Expand on the basic finance setup with house banks, payment process, intercompany scenarios and the integration with other modules for the roll-out to new countries.
The responsibilities entails the implementation new and current SAP initiatives within the existing S4H SAP architecture and interfaces. The business processes that are related to these initiative may change. Action has implemented SAP's best practices and these may deviate from the legacy way of working. The consultant is expected to guide and support to the business in the change towards the best practices. Team spirit, good communication skills and stakeholder management is required with the ability to work closely with business counterparts and IT departments.
The candidate is expected to be able to work a minimum of 50% on-site and maximum 50% remotely and be self-motivated. As well as analyzing and documenting processes and the current vs the new way of working and GAP analysis, the gathering of requirements for the business and IT is also crucial. As Functional Consultant you will report directly the project manager(s).
Experiences:
  • Required:
    • Hands-on customizing experience with S4H
    • Minimum of 3 full cycle FiCo implementations.
  • Preferred:
    • Integration with the Business Technology Platform
    • End-to-End payment process
    • Multinational Retail organization
Skills:
  • Self-starter, able to structure and act quickly in a new environment
  • Ability to get results in a not fully mature business environment
  • Ability to guide the business community in the process changes.
  • Partner with Action internal departments such as Treasury, Finance, IT and other key Business Units to deliver industry best practice standard processes
  • Identify, analyze and document requirements for Business and IT (functional, technical, security, interfacing)
  • Partner with the test coordinator to identify test requirements and agree on test scenarios
  • Identify current work processes per business unit to make existing data flows more transparent
  • GAP analysis of current and new way of working for each business unit
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise regarding findings e.g. functional, technical, & security aspects
  • Identify issues and escalate it to the relevant teams
  • Dutch or English speaking with all documentation to be done in English
