About the role
Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands is seeking an AIT Manager for its AIT department.
In this role, you will coordinate and manage assembly, integration, and testing activities for the development of next-generation flexible solar array systems. You will ensure that internal testing facilities, planning, and test execution are aligned, enabling projects to be delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
You will work closely with team leaders, project managers, and engineering teams while coordinating with multiple stakeholders throughout the development process.

Your role and responsibilities
As an AIT Manager, you will:
  • Coordinate assembly, integration, and testing activities across multiple projects;
  • Develop and manage AIT planning and execution strategies;
  • Coordinate internal testing facilities and testing campaigns;
  • Ensure that test plans are executed in accordance with quality, planning, and safety requirements;
  • Manage technical and operational stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Monitor progress, risks, and project milestones;
  • Drive continuous improvement of AIT processes;
  • Support the successful implementation of advanced solar array programs.
Your profile
You are an organized technical project leader who enjoys coordinating complex engineering activities in a multidisciplinary environment.
You bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field;
  • Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience coordinating engineering or AIT activities in a high-tech environment;
  • Strong planning and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar);
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Experience in the aerospace or space industry is considered a strong advantage.
