Job Description:
Airbus Netherlands B.V. is looking for a Building & Installation Manager for our Facility Service in Leiden, the Netherlands. As part of our FD team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment to support our space activities. You will work closely with internal customers of installations and maintenance parties and report to the Head of Services.
Your challenges/tasks:
Your tasks will be very varied and essential to the continuity of our organization:
* Management and Maintenance: You will draw up an annual maintenance plan and monitor its timely implementation.
* Installation, buildings, and site management: You will be responsible for maintaining, replacing, and optimizing building-related installations, including maintaining and managing the conditions of our cleanrooms and production facilities.
* Contract management: You monitor the implementation of maintenance contracts and make (new) agreements with suppliers within the contractual framework.
* Innovation & Advice: You identify needs, translate these into proposals for innovation or modification of products/services, draw up specifications based on customer requirements, test the market, and advise during the selection phase.
* Project coordination: You organize and coordinate small renovations and maintain the drawings.
* Compliance: You apply for municipal permits, ensure their renewal, and monitor their implementation. You ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, with a constant focus on safety.
* You are on standby outside working hours in case of emergencies.
What do you bring to the table?
- Minimum MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge and skills in the field of facilities, specifically focused on building and installation management.
- You have experience with applying for permits, project-based work, and environmental legislation.
- You are customer-oriented and know how to translate internal needs into concrete solutions.
- You work in a results-oriented and efficient manner and have a keen eye for quality.
- You have good communication skills to effectively coordinate with colleagues, suppliers, and municipal authorities.
- You are a planner and organizer, able to set priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You have expertise and stay up to date with relevant developments.
- You are stress-resistant and can deal with ad hoc situations.
- You are willing to work on-call shifts outside regular working hours.
- You have a valid driver's license B.
