Start date: As soon as possible
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Oegstgeest (hybrid, preferably on-site)
Duration: Until October 31, 2026

Company description

Airbus is Europe's largest aerospace company, providing products, services, and solutions for the commercial aircraft, helicopter, defense, and space sectors. In the Netherlands, Airbus operates at multiple locations with a strong focus on high-tech engineering and production for the space industry.

The organization plays a key role in delivering cutting-edge aerospace technologies, while working closely with international teams and stakeholders. The work environment is dynamic, innovative, and highly collaborative.

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Quality Officer (Administrative Support) for its Quality department. This is a temporary position focused on helping the team reduce the backlog of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensuring that quality documentation is accurate and up to date.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of data, following up on tasks, and making sure systems are updated correctly. Although this is an administrative role, it requires strong coordination skills and the ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner within a technical environment.

You will report directly to the Head of Quality & HSE and work closely with various internal stakeholders.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Quality Officer (Administrative Support), you will:

  • Upload approved supplier data packs into Windchill
  • Create Incoming Inspection NCRs based on input from subcontractors (e.g., Alten)
  • Follow up with the responsible parties on the activities defined during project milestones
  • Support in clearing the backlog of supplier NCRs
  • Collect and organize existing data and reports, ensuring that all information is up to date in the NCC tool
  • Create and maintain databases for actions resulting from MRRs (Material Review Reports) and DRBs (Design Review Boards)
  • Track and follow up on actions identified during NRBs (Non-Conformance Review Boards)
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of quality-related data

Your profile

You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a dynamic, technical environment where coordination and accuracy are essential.

You bring:

  • Vocational education (minimum requirement)
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in administrative, quality assurance, or support roles
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to follow up on your own
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Experience with databases or documentation systems is a plus (e.g., Windchill, NCR tools)
  • Fluency in English (required)

What we offer

  • A position within a leading international aerospace organization
  • Exposure to quality processes in a high-tech engineering environment
  • A collaborative and professional work environment
  • Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and data quality
  • Hybrid work options
