Are you an experienced SAP Application Process Consultant looking for a new challenge? With the Fit4Future portfolio, we’re making our IT landscape future-proof. In doing so, we’re helping Alliander drive the energy transition. Robust and intelligent systems. Fast and smart, built on a solid foundation. Together with your enthusiastic colleagues, you’ll not only ensure the maintenance of various smart processes but also help design new ones. The team works extensively with the current SAP ISU system as well as S4U. We place a much higher priority on your ability to quickly acquire technical and functional knowledge. We could really use your help!

Your energy
Digitalization is the answer to the energy challenges of the future. As our new colleague, you’ll learn all about it here. Together with your team, you’ll work on the energy of today and tomorrow:

  • You will provide clarity on processes within our organization and translate business needs into understandable process and/or IT solutions;
  • You have a curious mind, ask questions, and value taking personal responsibility for implementing new features;
  • You are responsible for the development and implementation of innovations, while keeping reuse, best practices, and standard functionalities in mind;
  • You create user stories, drawing energy from listening, visualizing, and analyzing processes; mapping out the consequences of changes; and devising and recommending potential solutions. You then implement the results of this work in the application;
  • In addition to developing new features, you understand and appreciate the importance of a stable application:
    • You resolve incidents;
    • You proactively improve the application step by step;
    • You monitor the application and resolve issues as needed;
    • You maintain active contact with the people involved.
  • You’ll work closely with your own (multidisciplinary) Scrum team and proactively seek to collaborate with other teams to achieve results.
Your Employer & Team
You’ll be working in an independent and driven Scrum team in the Market Services department within ART Market Operations Services. Among other things, the Scrum team is responsible for everything related to periodic large-scale business contracts. Despite the team’s high degree of autonomy, you enjoy collaborating closely both within the team and within the Scrum framework. You also have a constructive, critical mindset aimed at ensuring our end product is of the highest quality.

Your background
With your energy and“how can we make it work” mindset, you’ll excel at driving further improvements in Alliander’s digital transformation. You’re passionate about progress and take ownership of delivering high-quality results. You’re constructively critical and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Personal development comes naturally to you, thanks to your willingness to take training courses to keep your knowledge up to date.

You might also recognize yourself in the following:
  • Simplify complex issues and translate them into workable solutions;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to get people on board;
  • A completed associate's or bachelor's degree;
  • You are driven, proactive, and assertive;
  • You can think outside the box and are willing to step outside your comfort zone as a result;
  • You’re curious, have an agile mindset, and enjoy working in a (hybrid) Scrum team;
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with SAP ISU is definitely important; if you have knowledge of S4 or S4U, that’s a plus;
  • You'll be handling the functional aspects; technical knowledge is a plus;
  • Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
  • Work Location: The team works at the office in Arnhem 2–3 days a week.
