Are you an experienced SAP PS (Project System) / SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management) Application Administrator looking to contribute to the energy transition? Do you enjoy working with complex SAP environments, and are you truly in your element when it comes to the ongoing development and functional management of SAP PS and SAP PPM?
SAP expertise, ownership, and an impact on the energy transition. That’s what we do together in the role of Senior SAP PS/PPM Application Administrator. You’ll work on stable project systems and turn questions into concrete solutions. This is a 32–40-hour-per-week position. You’ll help make the grid smarter at Alliander.

As an SAP PS/PPM Application Administrator, you are responsible for the functional management, stability, and ongoing development of SAP PS and SAP PPM. You ensure that the application aligns optimally with portfolio, project, and financial management processes, and you serve as the subject matter expert and sounding board for the business, IT, and vendors. We’re building the energy grid of the future for everyone, together with everyone. And as an SAP PS/PPM Application Administrator, you’ll be part of this effort. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Translating business needs into changes and improvements.
Advising stakeholders, providing guidance to key users, and serving as a sparring partner for SAP architects, vendors, and external consultants.
Coordinating releases and monitoring SAP integrations.
Monitoring the stability and performance of SAP PS and SAP PPM.
Handling and managing incidents, problems, and changes (ITIL/ASL-style).
You complete the grid at Alliander
Did you know that Alliander is made up of various companies that work together to build a reliable and future-proof energy grid? With a large team of professionals, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of residents and businesses in the Netherlands. Everything we do, we do with the people who count on us in mind: our customers.
And you’ll be doing that here at Alliander. Here, you’ll work alongside portfolio and project management, Finance, and SAP architecture teams. The SAP Management department consists of specialists responsible for ensuring the continuity and ongoing development of SAP. Together, you’ll ensure stable systems and controlled innovation.
You just make it more energetic
You enjoy working with complex SAP environments and like to take the lead. You bridge the gap between IT and business and bring structure to change. You do this by drawing on your own strengths and talents. And you’ll do it here with us. Can you contribute to this with your SAP expertise and analytical skills? And can you also bring the following to the table:
Completed a degree at a university of applied sciences or a research university.
At least 5 years of experience with SAP PS and/or SAP PPM.
Extensive experience with functional application management in SAP environments.
Knowledge of project processes and financial project management (CAPEX), as well as project and portfolio processes.
