Fit 4 Future (F4F) Business Consultant

What will you do?

As a Business Consultant, you’ll play a key role within the Asset Performance Management (APM) Meters & Metering Rooms department. You’ll support the organization in implementing the significant changes resulting from the strategic IT program Fit 4 Future (F4F). In doing so, you’ll represent the department’s interests across various program components and ensure that the business is optimally prepared for the new way of working.

You serve as the link between business, IT, and the program organization. You advise the F4F Business Project Manager and the management of APM Meters & Meetruimtes on progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement. You identify bottlenecks in a timely manner and ensure that actions are assigned to the appropriate stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of the new asset application landscape within APM Meters & Measurement Rooms, including:

    • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
    • Asset Performance Management (APM)
    • Field Service Management (FSM)
  • Ensure consistency across the various implementations and facilitate successful deployment, integration, and adoption within the organization.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of data products and management reports.

  • Supporting the department in its transition to the new Snowflake data platform and the updated reporting environment in Power BI.

  • Represent and safeguard the department’s interests within the ERP program, with a specific focus on the logistical and financial processes related to residential electricity meters.

  • Developing and optimizing lifecycle processes for small-consumption meters within APM Meters & Metering Rooms.

  • Establish effective collaboration and coordination between the business organization and the Fit 4 Future program.

What makes this assignment interesting?

This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on one of the largest change programs within the organization. You’ll work in a complex environment where digitization, process optimization, asset management, and data-driven practices converge. In doing so, you’ll make a significant contribution to a future-proof energy supply.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Business Product Lead who can oversee complex change initiatives and engage stakeholders at all levels. You feel at home in an environment where processes, data, IT, and business operations converge, and you know how to bring structure and momentum to these areas.

This is what you bring

  • A completed higher professional education or university education.
  • At least 3–5 years of verifiable experience in a similar role as a business consultant, project consultant, or change consultant.
  • Experience at the intersection of business and IT.
  • Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management within complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with process improvements, change initiatives, and implementations.
  • Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector, preferably with a grid operator.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to switch between strategic and operational modes.
  • Experience with data and reporting platforms such as Snowflake and Power BI is a strong plus.
  • You'll work out of Arnhem, Amsterdam, and partly from home.
