As an IAM Onboarding Specialist, you are the driving force behind integrating new systems into our SailPoint environment. You will work within the technically oriented IAM team of ART IAM. You will focus entirely on onboarding applications, data sources, and systems: from analysis to configuration, from testing to handover to operations. You will build on the knowledge within our team and from the ongoing implementation program—but you bring the expertise and seniority to further professionalize the onboarding process.

Your impact

With your technical knowledge and experience, you ensure that new systems are connected to SailPoint securely, on time, and in accordance with IAM guidelines. You bridge the gap between technology, security, and processes, ensuring that identity and access management functions consistently and reliably across the entire organization. You help Alliander maintain control at scale, especially now that the number of connected systems is growing rapidly. -

What you will do

  • Youonboard new applications and systemsto SailPoint, including source and target system integrations, provisioning flows, aggregator configuration, and lifecycle logic. In doing so, you take into account security requirements, data structures, and existing IAM frameworks.
  • Youbuild and configureconnectors, schemas, transformation rules, and policies within SailPoint.
  • Youwill test and validateonboarding functionality end-to-end and ensure that changes remain manageable over the long term. In doing so, you will work closely with other onboarding specialists: you will test and validate each other’s work.
  • Youwill work closely withauthorization administrators to design and implement the role model for the applications to be integrated.
  • Youwill support the ongoing development of the onboarding process, in part based on best practices shared by the program team.
  • Youresolve technical issuesrelated to integrations, identity lifecycle flows, or provisioning.

What you bring

  • A college or university degree and extensive experience with onboarding, identity lifecycle management, provisioning, API integrations, and data connectivity.
  • Extensive experience with SailPoint components such as IdentityNow/IdentityIQ connectors, schemas, attribute mappings, and workflows.
  • Analytical skills to quickly identify dependencies, risks, and potential solutions within complex technical systems.
  • Strong communication skills: you can explain technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • An affinity for a "secure-by-design" approach, compliance requirements within IAM, and agile collaboration within an ART.

Why this is right for you

You thrive on complex technical integration challenges, discovering smart solutions, and building a robust IAM landscape. You have experience onboarding systems, but you also enjoy shaping the processes surrounding them. You take ownership of secure identities and reliable access, and you naturally collaborate with fellow IAM experts. -
