Alliander context
The Netherlands runs on energy. And completely on renewable energy by 2050. It is up to the network companies and all our partners to help make this energy transition possible, and we are working hard to do so. We are doing this, for example, by managing and adapting our energy networks. Serving our customers and achieving our goals requires a future-proof and robust provision of information.
Fit4Future
From a business perspective, the initiatives needed for the coming years to accelerate in the execution of this mission have been identified. At the same time, the initiation and planning phase of Fit4Future worked out where we want to be in 5 years and beyond and what we want to be able to do, translated into a future fixed architecture with a focus on processes and systems. In the ongoing design phase, blueprints are prepared and partners are selected for implementation.
However, when replacing core IT systems within the Fit4Future scope, we have some specific challenges and risks. For example, we have to work for several years on IT that does not deliver immediately visible functionality, while we expect the demand for new digitalization (outside the Fit4Future scope) to increase significantly. This puts pressure on the rebuilding of the digital foundation with the risk that necessary Fit4Future work will not get the right priority. In addition, we no longer often implement large complex changes to the existing ecosystem with the risk of missing lifecycle and contractual deadlines.
IAM Program
This project is part of the IAM program, within the F4F portfolio. The IAM program focuses on the secure and efficient implementation of Identity & Access Management within Alliander. An important goal is to properly organize identities that are not created or managed through regular HR processes, but do need access to the organization's systems, applications and data.
This concerns a diverse group of users, such as external consultants, suppliers, contractors, partners or other non-employees who are temporarily or structurally involved in our processes. Reliable and secure access must be realized for them, ensuring ease of use as well as compliance with laws and regulations (including privacy and security).
With this flow, the program contributes to a future-proof IAM environment in which Alliander can work agile with external parties while ensuring the security of business-critical information and infrastructure.
For this flow, the IAM program is looking for someone to be responsible for the realization and ensure the smooth and secure establishment of this process.
Deliverables(in time):
Phase 1 - (Q4 2025)
