HR Change Consultant – Future-Proof Learning & Development

The energy transition requires not only a future-proof energy grid, but also employees who are committed to continuous professional development. That is why Alliander is developing a new learning platform that makes learning, development, and professional competence simpler, more accessible, and future-proof.

As part of the Future-Proof Learning & Development (TLO) program, we are seeking an experienced HR Change Consultant who will be responsible for providing change management support during the implementation of this new learning platform.

You ensure that employees, managers, and HR understand, embrace, and actually implement the new way of working. You develop the change and adoption strategy and implement it yourself. You maintain a visible presence within the organization, take ownership, and actively drive results.

This is explicitly a hands-on role. We are not looking for a consultant who primarily provides advice and delegates tasks, but rather a professional who drives change themselves.

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute the change, communication, and adoption strategy for the implementation of the new learning platform.
  • Supporting employees, managers, and HR in the transition to the new way of working.
  • Building support and ensuring effective stakeholder management at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
  • Facilitating workshops, inspirational sessions, and other activities aimed at raising awareness and promoting adoption.
  • Developing and implementing communication and engagement activities.
  • Identifying and managing the impact of the change on processes, roles, and work methods.
  • Identifying resistance and independently implementing appropriate change interventions.
  • Monitor progress, engagement, and adoption, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure that the new working method is sustainably embedded within the organization.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced HR Change Consultant with a proven track record of successfully guiding and implementing complex change initiatives. You have a keen understanding of organizational dynamics, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage various stakeholders in the change process.

At the same time, you’re pragmatic, independent, and results-oriented. You take the initiative, take ownership, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to work. You not only develop the approach but also put it into practice.

Strict job requirements

  • A completed associate's or bachelor's degree.
  • Valid Prosci Change Management (ADKAR) certificate.
  • Proven experience as a hands-on Change Consultant in complex change initiatives.
  • Proven experience in independently developing and implementing change, communication, and adoption initiatives.
  • Experience with stakeholder management at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
  • Demonstrates the ability to independently develop, implement, and adjust a change strategy; tasks are not primarily delegated to others.

Work Environment

You will be part of the TLO Program and will work closely with HR, Learning & Development, IT, Security, the Data Office, and various business units.

Alliander operates according to the Agile Way of Working. Together, you’ll work to create a future-proof learning environment that supports employees in their development and contributes to Alliander’s ambitions.
