Rate: max €100= incl msp fee.
ZZP: Yes
Location: Candidate is at Arnhem office 1 day a week, other days by mutual agreement
Screening: Yes, screening can take 4 to 6 weeks.

Lead strategic initiatives to evaluate and recommend Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions that align with Alliander's security, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements. This role combines business consultancy, process optimization, and change management to drive organizational adoption of IAM best practices and strengthen resilience across IT and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Analysis
    • Conduct market research on available IdP solutions.
    • Assess vendor capabilities, compliance with security and sovereignty requirements.
    • Benchmark solutions against industry best practices for resilience and availability.
  • Requirements Gathering
    • Collaborate with security, IAM, and OT teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Ensure alignment with Alliander's regulatory and operational standards.
  • Evaluation & Recommendation
    • Perform fit-gap analysis between candidate solutions and business needs.
    • Prepare decision-making documentation including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
    • Recommend the most suitable solution and outline implementation roadmap.
  • Process and Governance
    • Define IAM related processes and governance models
    • Establish principles for integration, security hardening and life cycle management
  • Change Management
    • Design and implement change management strategies to drive adoption of new IAM processes and technologies.
    • Identify potential resistance points and create mitigation plans to ensure smooth organizational transition.
    • Provide training and awareness sessions for impacted teams to accelerate adoption

Required Skills & Experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in vendor evaluation and market analysis for IAM solutions.
  • Experience in business consulting, process design, and change management.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
  • Understanding of data sovereignty, compliance frameworks, and security standards.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in IAM or security (e.g., CISSP, CIAM).
  • Experience in critical infrastructure or OT environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, GDPR).
