Innovation Consultant
You will be working with Alliander on the energy grid of the future. The biggest challenge ever! As an Innovation Consultant, you will be working within an innovation ecosystem consisting of multidisciplinary innovation teams. Here, multiple disciplines work together on initiatives and solutions. As an Innovation Consultant, you will help devise, develop, and test innovations in collaboration with market parties, research institutions, customers, and Alliander colleagues. Together with your team, you will ensure that the innovations Alliander needs to realize its strategy are developed. We are creating the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as an Innovation Consultant, you will be part of this.
Your tasks will include:
-Performing problem analyses to arrive at the right solutions;
-Translating new concepts into testable solutions: translating problems into innovation questions and removing obstacles in the concept/design phase;
-Advising various stakeholders and realizing innovations, for example by setting up a PoC or pilot to demonstrate value and feasibility;
-Collaborating with parties inside and outside the organization to concretize and test concepts;
-Creating support for concepts, products, and services and convincing the organization of their value and feasibility.

-Running innovation projects: You will devise, develop, and test new concepts in collaboration with market parties, research institutions, customers, and colleagues.
-Communication and stakeholder management: You are good at working with different stakeholders and ensure support within and outside the organization.
Hands-on and guiding

- Following the innovation approach: You follow the innovation approach from start to finish, from problem analysis to implementation, and think about the practical application of innovations.
- Making an impact: You work at the office twice a week and contribute to the culture of collaboration and innovation.
What do you bring to the table?
-HBO+/WO working and thinking level: You have a high level of education and can think strategically.
- 5-10years of relevant work experience. For example, as a consultant, innovation consultant, or innovation lead.
-Experience in setting up experiments: you have experience in translating hypotheses and learning questions into quickly executable experiments and scaling them up to the business
-Innovative mindset: You move easily at different levels within and outside the organization.
-Analytical skills: You can translate an innovation into what is needed for successful implementation and articulate this clearly in your advice to colleagues, partners, or customers.
-Fearlessness: You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and break new ground.
