The energy transition is impossible without you as Revenue and Network Loss Manager
As Revenue and Network Loss Manager, you are responsible for the following areas.

From Market Services:

  • You’ll make a significant contribution to Alliander-wide strategic themes such as Better Grid Utilization and Data Sharing
  • You will help build a future-proof foundation by implementing sustainability goals related to CO2 (SBTi) across Alliander, improving revenue recognition—including recovering uncollected costs—and driving cost-efficiency within Market Services by reducing administrative costs per activity and/or ensuring that costs incurred generate a return on investment

Together with fellow network operators:

  • Do you play a leading role in combating energy poverty and disconnection policies?
  • You will help increase our positive social impact by working to improve agreements regarding the purchase of grid losses and by combating administrative grid losses and energy fraud

As the head of your department, you are responsible for:

  • Leading, inspiring, coaching, and developing your direct reports—including team leaders—in their leadership roles
  • Revenue of €2.5 billion, plus the purchase and greening of grid losses amounting to €500 million, including related processes
  • Ensuring the operational stability of your department, thereby making a significant contribution to Alliander’s operations

You help make the grid more complete at Alliander
Did you know that Alliander is made up of several companies? Together with Liander, Qirion, Qterra, Dep, and Entrnce, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of people in the Netherlands. And with the current energy transition, that’s hard work. We do this with the help of over 8,000 professionals. Thanks to these talented individuals, we have every confidence in the Netherlands’ energy future. Together with you, we’re making that possible. You’ll help improve the grid at Alliander, and you’ll do that within Market Services.

You can only look ahead with exceptional foresight if you have enough energy. And the right work environment gives you that. So it has to be worthwhile. Market Services enables a free market for the energy system in transition by connecting energy supply and demand with data services. This facilitates the necessary data exchange and accurate cost allocation for market services, system functions, and infrastructure use. Market Services consists of approximately 300 colleagues. The Revenue and Grid Loss department consists of approximately 50 colleagues. You will report to the Director of Market Services.

You’re the one who brings that extra energy
Building an organization that’s future-proof. You do this by drawing on your own strengths and talents. And you do it here with us. Do you contribute to this with courage, conceptual thinking, and the ability to get things done? As a leader, do you bring a combination of coaching and inspiring your colleagues, a focus on collaboration, taking responsibility, expertise, and experience in developing your department? Are you a rock-solid stakeholder manager who drives change? Sounds great! Especially if you complement this with:

  • WO working and thinking level;
  • At least 5 years of experience managing managers in a role with business responsibility;
  • Experience with financial performance management;
  • Experience in aligning vision, strategy, and implementation in a complex environment with conflicting interests;
  • Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
