Are you a driven professional with a passion for project management? Then we have a challenging opportunity for you! We are looking for a Manager Project Management for the department MS Work Packages, Program Helix, who not only masters figures and processes, but can also inspire and motivate a team. You will do this on location with the contractor (region Kop&West Friesland and Zaanstreek), at Amsterdam Westpoort. You will be on location 3 days a week, including Thursday at Westpoort. This way you contribute to a more sustainable energy network in the Netherlands. This is a 32-40 hour position. You will make the grid more organized at Alliander.

In this role, you will be a key link within the team, ensuring that all aspects of project management come together seamlessly within the Helix Program. You are responsible for identifying and managing (integral) risks. Together with the project management staff you monitor the current status of the management aspects. This includes monitoring project assignments and scope management, financial management, schedule management, information management, document management, risk & quality management. You highlight blind spots within project management and translate your findings into clear proposals for decision-making. From your central role you keep internal and external stakeholders well informed of what is going on and bring them into position. You are also point of contact for change teams and responsible for the implementation of developed changes that interface with project management.We create the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as manager of project management, you will contribute to this. For example, you are involved in the: 

• Implement quality standard in the program and its assurance.
• Ensure that project management staff in the plot teams know what standard their products must meet and that their reports, work comply with the process and standards, some of which are still being developed. 
• Ensuring up-to-date reports and (financial) analyses that serve as the basis for management measures to be taken and steering information for all project stakeholders. 
• Sharing knowledge (questioning)/coaching (training) team & project management staff on project management so that they are able to draft the products and fulfill their role in the teams. Creating the right mindset in this.
• Report at the (plot and) program level.

• At least 5 years of project management experience with a large company in infra, where project control & management is part of the daily tasks, think risk management and planning. 
• Experience with project-based work in a technical environment; preferably in projects.   
• Affinity for engineering.   
• Experience with SAP and other applications in a project environment is a plus and you are familiar with all Microsoft Office applications.   

• Establishment of an internal and external consultation structure, documented in SharePoint. 
• Drawing up a flow plan for the next five years. This plan will include three scenarios based on the lower, middle, and upper limits of the contractually agreed work package.
