Safety supervisor for medium-voltage substations

Are you technically skilled, safety-conscious, and good at coordinating work? Do you have an eye for quality, people, and processes? Then we are looking for you!

What will you do?

As a Safety Supervisor for medium-voltage areas, you are responsible for ensuring that tasks such as asbestos inventory work are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations. You supervise compliance with safety rules, monitor the quality of the work, and support colleagues and managers in the execution and preparation of tasks.

Your responsibilities

• Performing work in accordance with instructions, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Ensuring the safety and quality of (asbestos inventory) work and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Inspecting, managing, and registering tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they meet safety requirements.
• Ensuring that stocks, materials, and tools are recorded accurately and up to date in the systems.
• Providing timely and clear information to internal and external stakeholders about the availability and quality of equipment and materials.
• Preparing, planning, and coordinating work activities and processes in a feasible and efficient manner.
• Guiding and providing professional support to employees during the performance of their duties.
• Performing and processing administrative tasks in a timely manner and making relevant information available to those involved.

What do you bring?

• Technical knowledge and experience in an electrical engineering or industrial environment.
• Strong safety awareness and experience in supervising work activities.
• In possession of VCA-VOL.
• In possession of a first aid certificate.
• In possession of a valid AVP designation LS + MS.
• Good organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong communication skills, proactive, and able to hold others accountable for safety and quality.
• Independent, responsible, and able to handle stress.
