Construction: deta-permanent, ZZP: no

3 days at the office (fulltime), first 2 to 3 months maximum at the office.
Rate: max € 60, - including MSP fee

Within Qirion, the Data & Information department is responsible for processing mainly (geographical) station, cable and pipeline information in our GIS systems. You ensure that our data processing can run smoothly and quickly so that our networks and infrastructure meet our requirements. Your energy contributes directly to the quality of our recorded infrastructure.

What does the position entail? 

You will ensure the increase of efficiency and quality within our data processing process by proactively "retrieving" the required information so that work on the energy infrastructures can be carried out safely and properly in one go. You will do this through: 

  • Working efficiently and proactively with your colleagues within the team;
  • Communicating required data with engineers and other stakeholders within projects;
  • You oversee all the data to be obtained and put it as complete ready for the Mutation team.
  • Helping monitor timelines in the chain regarding data to be delivered for projects; 
  • You participate and advise in consultations within the department with the goal of increasing data quality and executing processes more efficiently; 

What do we ask of you? 

You can keep a good overview, are accurate and stress resistant. You take responsibility for your projects and realizing improvements. You have good communication skills because you frequently switch between different parties. Furthermore, we ask:  

  • You hold an MBO+/HBO degree, preferably in Electricity Distribution Engineering. 
  • You have an affinity for technology and data.
  • You have an interest in energy infrastructures. 
  • You are highly communicative and do not hesitate to pick up the phone.
  • You have the opportunity to work hybrid and conform to team agreements that provide balance between working in the office and from home. 
  • You have excellent computer skills.
  • You are preferably familiar with GIS systems (such as Smallworld or ArcGIS) and have a basic knowledge of Autocad or another drawing program.

Alliander is a network company in the energy sector and consists of the companies Liander and Qirion. The grid operator Liander distributes electricity to 3.1 million customers and gas to 2.7 million customers in over a third of the Netherlands. Liander provides maintenance, expansion and innovation of their grids in Gelderland, Friesland, North Holland and parts of South Holland and Flevoland. Qirion provides specialized services in these areas in the field of construction and maintenance of complex high-voltage energy infrastructures.
