  • The Warehouse Clerk position is a position within the Facility & Technical Services Clerk job series. The Employee Facility and Technical Services is mostly a 'mobile' and 'physical' function. Work is carried out with, for example, instruments, equipment or tools. Work is carried out in, for example, a workshop, in a warehouse or at a project location.

    The Facility and Technical Services Clerk performs and/or supervises various, practical activities of a technical, facility or logistical nature. Ensures that the work processes continue to run smoothly and that colleagues and/or external parties are provided with the necessary products and services.

    Typing: Independently performs various repetitive operational tasks requiring practical professional knowledge.

    Knowledge, skills and experience:
    - Minimum of VMBO+ working and thinking level.
    - None/Some relevant work experience required.

    1. Perform technical, logistical and/or facility operations
    a. Work was performed according to order and regulations.
    2. Inspect and manage tools, equipment and materials
    a. Tools, equipment and materials are/remain in good condition and meet safety requirements.
    b. Up-to-date recording of supplies, materials and tools in systems.
    c. Provide timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders regarding the quality of equipment/materials.
    3. Monitor and/or supervise safety
    a. Quality of work/results is in order and safety regulations are followed.
    4. Administrative work and make information available
    a. Additional administrative work has been processed appropriately and in a timely manner so that those involved have the correct information.
    b. Relevant information has been processed and shared with stakeholders.
    5. Coordination and preparation of work
    a. Work activities and work processes are feasibly and efficiently planned, distributed and executed. Intended results have been achieved.
    b. Employees have received optimal guidance and (professional) support.
    c. The supervisor has been supported in the management of the team/department in accordance with agreements.

    Difficulty of the work:
    - Carries out common tasks according to work instructions.
    - Assesses situations within the assignment and chooses from known solutions.
    - Records data about the work according to fixed procedures.

    Initiatives:
    - Identifies bottlenecks and possibilities for improvement of own work and discusses these with responsible colleagues.
