The employees work as logistics staff at our new cable hub in Beverwijk. Working at a cable hub location involves loading and unloading cable reels, cutting and rewinding cables, and administrative processing of new reels to be issued, damaged reels, leftover reels, etc. In exceptional cases, employees may be assigned to other cable hubs or within the warehouse.

Main activities:
  • Picking, scanning, and labeling orders
  • Packing, scanning, and labeling orders
  • For inbound: loading, unloading, and checking
  • For shipping: loading, unloading, and checking
  • Counting orders and inventory
  • Facility tasks such as cleaning containers and sweeping
  • Identifies bottlenecks and problems and coordinates with colleagues C and D.
  • The employee is interchangeable within their own workflow, overall warehouse, and cable hubs.
  • Safety: Identifies hazards, addresses people, and reports incidents (LMRA/ABS). Coordinates with C/D employees. Coordinates reports with colleagues within own team.
  • The Warehouse Assistant position is part of the Facilities & Technical Services Assistant job series. The Facilities and Technical Services Assistant is often a 'mobile' and 'physical' position. The work involves using instruments, equipment, or tools, for example. Tasks are carried out in a workshop, warehouse, or project location, for example.

    The Facilities and Technical Services Employee performs various practical tasks of a technical, facilities or logistical nature and/or supervises these tasks. Ensures that work processes continue to run smoothly and that colleagues and/or external parties are provided with the necessary products and services.

    Knowledge, skills, and experience:
    - Minimum VMBO+ working and thinking level.
    - No/some relevant work experience required.
