Medior Specialist Ecology
That's what you'll do at Qterra, part of Alliander, in the role of Medior Specialist Ecology. You will ensure that the preparation of projects runs smoothly so that Alliander can realize its strategy. This is a position for a minimum of 32 hours per week, working from our Arnhem office as well as from home. You will make the net more professional at Alliander.

Ecology is divided into nitrogen/Natura 2000, area protection (including NNN area), species protection and trees/planting. This function focuses particularly on species protection and trees (impact analyses).

And you are going to do that at our business unit Qterra. Qterra is a young company with currently 90 employees that is developing and growing at a rapid pace. Qterra is currently in transition from project preparation in the field of contaminated soil to broader environmental consultancy. You will join a team of specialists for different fields of work (soil, explosive remnants of war, archaeology, water and ecology).

A completed college degree in Forest and Wildlife Management or similar.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an ecological consultant.
Excellent knowledge of area and species protection and experience with application in projects.
A practical approach and the ability to balance nature interests and project implementation.
Experience with nitrogen regulations, tree impact analysis and species management plans is a plus.
