Working in the open air. In our low and medium voltage networks to be precise. That goes hand in hand with interesting technical issues, freedom and plenty of growth opportunities. You do it as a Low and Medium Voltage Mechanic in the Haarlem - Leiden region. This is a position for 40 hours. You will make the grid reliable at Alliander.
You often hear that every day is different. But in your job, it really is. Using your own tablet, you check the schedule to see what work is scheduled for that day. In your company van you leave home for the location in your work area in the Haarlem-Leiden region. One day you will solve a malfunction together with a trainee electrician. The next day you will repair a cable that has been hit during excavation work. And what about a job where a new residential area has to be provided with a low-voltage network? Just a small list, because there is of course much more. The energy network of the future will be created for everyone, with everyone. And as an electrician, you are working on this. So you are busy with the:
- Construction, maintenance and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage network, transformer substations and public lighting.
- Supervise electricians in training.
You just make it more energetic
Switching in the power grid and testing whether it works. You do that from your own strength and talent. And you do it with us. Do you contribute to that with your logical way of thinking? Great! Especially if you complement this with:
- An education in electrical engineering, preferably in the direction of low and medium voltage.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- At least one of the following BEI certificates:
- BEI VP LS + switching competent,
- BEI AVP LS + switchable
- BEI AVP LS + MS Competent.
- A BEI certificate AVP in the LS and MS + switching competent
- A driver's license B.
Outcome obligations for ZZP:
The mechanic performs work in the electricity grid with a Liander shift supervisor, always putting safety first. He switches, assembles and dismantles cables in medium and low voltage and ensures that all work is carried out according to the set standards. During the assignment period, he works on an average of 3 projects per week, representing approximately 156 completed projects within 52 weeks. Supervise and train at least 3 apprentices to a higher designation.
