The energy transition is impossible without you as a Gas B Network Specialist

As a Gas Network Specialist, you will primarily carry out work during the design phase of projects related to gas networks. You will proactively advise and guide the Large-Scale Consumption, Small-Scale Consumption, and Implementation & Networks teams on matters related to energy distribution networks and connections. You will monitor and evaluate technical applications in accordance with standardization and regulatory policies.

You are capable of independently creating complex network designs or performing network calculations, thereby contributing to the transition to a sustainable gas network that responds to developments related to the energy transition. As a Gas Network Specialist B, you will play a role in this effort. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and guiding engineers, project managers, workflow managers, team leaders, and asset management personnel in making the right technical decisions regarding quality, safety, and network infrastructure
  • You do this primarily during the design phase, using network calculations based on customer demand in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • In addition, you will serve as the link between Construction and Asset Management and represent the Construction team within the Asset and Component Groups and external consultation groups. Providing training and information to the GV, KV, and R&N chains is also an important part of your role.

You’ll be working on nationwide projects, but that doesn’t mean you’ll actually be traveling all over the country. Your work location will depend on your home address.
