Environmental Manager D
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Location: Amsterdam (Tuesday and Thursday fixed office days)
Type: temporary-to-permanent, self-employed not possible
Rate: €110 including MSP fee
Please note that this is a temporary-to-permanent position. Please state your gross monthly salary on your resume, otherwise your application will not be considered.
As an environmental manager, you bridge the gap between the environment and technology. You ensure that the project complies with laws and regulations in the field of spatial planning and gather wishes and requirements from the competent authorities and other stakeholders. At Qirion, you are responsible for the spatial/planning feasibility test, conditioning studies, permits, and stakeholder management. Your role during the construction phase is smaller than during the preparation of the project.
Qirion works primarily on behalf of network operators Liander and TenneT. Liander Spatial Integration's environmental manager is mainly involved in the planning phase of the project and conducts strategic discussions with stakeholders. You will act as a sparring partner in this process.
During the work week, you will be involved in activities such as:
• Using map material to investigate the feasibility of a new high-voltage substation in the rural area of North Holland, or an underground cable connection through the city center of Leiden;
• Visiting a construction project to consult with the contractor;
• Facilitating a consultation on the integration of a new high-voltage substation into the landscape, with special attention to nature-inclusive facilities;
• Collecting drawings and relevant data for the application for an environmental permit and studying the results of the archaeological research;
• Discussing the progress of an environmental plan procedure with the municipality's planning lawyer;
• Explaining a new project during an open evening for local residents.
