Rate: €116, including MSP fee
Duration: 1.5 years
Hours: 24 to 40 hours
Location: Amsterdam Basisweg, 1 to 2 days per week in the office

As an Environmental Manager, you bridge the gap between the environment and engineering. You ensure that projects comply with laws and regulations regarding spatial planning and gather wishes and requirements from the competent authorities and other stakeholders. At Qirion, you will be responsible for spatial/planning feasibility assessments, prerequisite studies, permitting, and stakeholder management. You will handle these tasks from the planning phase through to the implementation phase. As an Environmental Manager, you will work closely with engineers and property managers internally and be willing to travel for work.

This position focuses primarily on the installation of new underground high-voltage cables in the western Netherlands. These are often complex projects that take place in both urban and rural areas. Determining a preferred route requires a great deal of coordination, due in part to technical challenges and the large number of stakeholders. Experience in preparing and supervising civil engineering work on private properties is highly desirable. You will be expected to quickly become familiar with these projects. Therefore, at least 6 years of relevant work experience as an environmental manager is required.

Experience is required in the following areas:
- Preliminary studies
- Permits
- Stakeholder management
- Collaboration with contractors

Experience with the following topics is a plus:
- Construction of underground infrastructure;
- Agricultural engineering

The performance requirements for a self-employed professional will be established at a later date.
