As environment manager you bridge the gap between environment and engineering. You ensure that the project complies with laws and regulations in the field of spatial planning and collect wishes and requirements from competent authorities and other stakeholders. At Qirion you are responsible for the spatial/planological feasibility test, conditioning studies, permits and stakeholder management.
This hiring assignment focuses primarily on projects in the Leiden region. It involves both the expansion/new construction of high-voltage substations and the construction of new underground high-voltage connections. These projects are in both urban and rural areas, each with their own complexity and challenges. You are expected to make these projects your own in a short period of time. Therefore, relevant work experience as an environmental manager is a requirement.
Examples of work:
- Using map material to examine the feasibility of a project;
- Visiting a construction project to consult with the contractor;
- Facilitating a consultation on the landscaping of a new high voltage substation with special attention to nature inclusive features;
- Collecting drawings and relevant data for the application for an environmental permit and studying the results of the archaeological survey;
- Discuss the progress of an environmental plan procedure with the municipality's plan lawyer;
- Explaining a new project during a walk-in evening for local residents.
You will replace a departing internal employee. This colleague is working within Alliander until December. Would like a deployment that can be realized as soon as possible, so that a warm transfer is possible. You will be boarding a so-called 'moving train', with a short transfer period. We ask for a solid medior/senior, who can take over ongoing matters immediately.
