Help build the energy grid of the future. That is what you do as an engineer Elektra at Liander. This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, based in Apeldoorn. Use your talent for engineering to design and implement impressive infrastructure projects. You will contribute to the energy of today and tomorrow. And would you like to develop further, for example with a relevant course or training? We will give you every opportunity to do so. You will make the grid safer at Alliander.

The energy transition is impossible without you as an Electrical Engineer

You will work in a project team on the design, preparation and realization of our projects. You will help build a variety of infrastructure projects with social impact. Such as the realization of a residential and office tower that must be connected to the electricity network. Or the widening of a freeway where cables and pipes have to be moved. But also a solar park that must be connected to the existing energy network. Based on the requirements, you realize a design for these projects. The energy network of the future will be created for everyone, with everyone. And as an engineer, you will contribute to this. So you are busy with the:

  • Analyzing application data from the projects.
  • determine the approach by performing calculations and surveying the situation on site.
  • Create and request necessary documentation, such as traffic plans, permits, and asbestos and soil surveys.
  • ordering the necessary materials and calculating the expected cost.
  • Consult with internal chain partners and external parties about the plans you have made.

You complete the grid at Alliander

Did you know that at Alliander we are made up of several companies? Together with Liander, Qirion, Qterra, Dep, Firan and Entrnce, we develop and manage the energy network for millions of residents in the Netherlands. And with the current energy transition, that's hard work. We do this with the help of a large club of professionals. Thanks to these talents, we have full confidence in the energy future of the Netherlands. Together with you, we will make it possible.

And you are going to do that at our business unit Liander. Here you are jointly responsible for the management and maintenance of energy networks such as electricity and gas.

Creating smart designs is only possible if you have enough energy. And the right work environment gives you that. So it must deliver something. The department in Apeldoorn consists of pleasant and knowledgeable colleagues. You work together with the supervisors and project managers towards the same goal. In doing so, you support each other wherever possible. Your future colleague will tell you more about this.

"Because you are involved in the projects from A-Z, you really have the opportunity to use your creativity and talents. This in collaboration with a warm and nice team"

You just make it more energetic

Managing and designing our electricity or gas grid. You do that from your own strength and talent. And you do it with us. Do you contribute to that with your logical way of thinking? Great! Especially if you complement this with:

  • At least a mbo 4 diploma, preferably in energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of underground infrastructures, cables or medium voltage substations works to your advantage. If you do not yet have experience in this, we will give you the opportunity to acquire it.
