Help build the energy grid of the future. You will use your talent for engineering to design and implement impressive infrastructure projects. This is how you contribute to the energy of today and tomorrow. This is a position for a minimum of 32 hours. You will make the grid more sustainable at Alliander. 

You just make it better as an Engineer
You work in a project team on the design, preparation and realization of our projects. You will help build a variety of infrastructure projects with social impact. Such as the realization of a residential and office tower that needs to be connected to the electricity network.Or the widening of a freeway where cables and pipes have to be moved. But also a solar park that must be connected to the existing energy network. Based on the requirements, you realize a design for these projects. The energy network of the future will be created for everyone, with everyone. And as an engineer, you will contribute to this. So you are busy with the:  

• Create and request necessary documentation, such as traffic plans, permits, and asbestos and soil surveys.  
• ordering the necessary materials and calculating the expected cost.  
• Consult with internal chain partners and external parties about the plans you have made 
• determining the route by performing calculations and surveying the situation on site.  
• Analyzing project application data and creating a detailed draft work plan/design
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including lower-tier municipalities, contractors, businesses and residents

And you are going to do that at our business unit Liander. Here you will be jointly responsible for the management and maintenance of energy networks such as electricity and gas. We supply energy to households, businesses and other customers. 

You will work in one of the teams that are there for the projects in your region. The teams consist of Engineers, Executives, Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
You make the grid more energetic
Managing and designing our electricity or gas grid. You do that from your own strength and talent. And you do it with us. Will you contribute to that with your logical way of thinking? Great! Especially if you complement this with:   

• at least a completed mbo 4 in the direction of energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, installation engineering or closely related 
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position (work planner, engineer or draftsman) at a grid operator or within underground infrastructure. 
• Knowledge of underground infrastructure, cables or medium voltage substations will work to your advantage. 
• preferably experience with SAP, autoCAD, GAIA 
• Experience in project work and liaising with municipalities
