Within the NuLelie program, large-scale extensions to the electricity grid are being realized in the Friesland region. This is your contribution to a more sustainable energy network in the Netherlands. This position is for 32-40 hours per week. You will work together with Liander colleagues with the contractor in a team, working two days a week at the contractor's office (Meppel) and one day a week at our location in Leeuwarden.


You just make it better as an engineer

Our network is in need of expansion. Designing cable routes within the existing complex underground infrastructure requires accurate preparation, planning and coordination to prevent disruptions and damage. For large work packages, you work closely with the contractor in a construction team to expand our medium-voltage networks. We are creating the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as an Engineer, you will contribute to this.

 

For example, in a construction team you are working on:

  • Preparation of documents for trouble-free implementation.
  • Configuring stations and ordering them
  • Coordination with the construction team on delivery times, preparatory work and monitors.
  • scheduling work so everyone knows when what needs to be done.
  • Performing grid calculations so that the design meets all requirements.
  • Reviewing designs against policy.
  • Coordinating the design with internal departments and external agencies.
  • Working with the contractor to develop knowledge and expertise.
  • Leverage internal Liander knowledge to arrive at sound solutions in design and execution

The Large Work Packages department consists of sociable and sociable colleagues. As part of the program team, you and the contractor work together in a construction team to carry out the enormous expansion of our medium-voltage grid. Together you will build a future-proof grid. You will do this at one of the NuLelie plots (Friesland). The NuLelie program consists of committed and honest colleagues. There is an informal atmosphere and we motivate each other to bring out the best in each other. The team has three fixed working days in the office.

  • Knowledge of specification analysis, cost calculations and bid preparation. consulting skills and results orientation for successful execution of work.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience with Alliander.

For that, you get based on a 40-hour work week:  

  • A salary of €3,584.86 to €5,121.23 gross per month.  
  • an annual individual choice budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 8% vacation allowance. You can have this amount paid out, but you can also buy extra days off, for example. You choose what suits you.
  • 24.5 vacation days per year, liberally supplementable from your IKB.
  • a December year-end bonus of 6% of your annual salary
  • Every year a DI budget of € 500 for your sustainable employability. For example, choose to pay for your hobby sport, make your home more sustainable and greener, or reduce your study debt with DUO. You decide where your budget goes. 
  • Work where it works best for you, if your position allows. From the office or from your own home. Even a work station is one of the possibilities. If you work from home, you will receive a home working allowance.

Outcome commitments:
Prepare 10 projects.Prepare within normal 36-week process. Transfer with contractor is at least 6 weeks before GSU. Preparation meets Liander requirements, Lead time of preparation is standard process. Projects will be issued quarterly. Projects will be picked up in two consecutive quarters for this assignment. That means final completion is 1 year after start date.
