Start: as soon as possible—candidates with a one-month notice period will not be considered
Screening: basic
With the implementation of IFS PSO, the way work is prepared, planned, and executed is changing. The new planning system uses dynamic planning proposals based on prepared work. This changes the way planners, supervisors, work planners, and technicians collaborate.
The most important changes are:
Planners will start using a new planning system and will play a greater role in managing exceptions and changes;
Field workers and work planners must plan more work and do so more flexibly;
The contractor no longer manages a fixed team of technicians;
Name-based planning will be phased out and explicitly assigned to operational planning;
The “crew leader of the day” at Elektra will have a revised role;
Technicians must consistently use the buttons in the technician app.
These changes will require additional coordination, support, and guidance within the operation during the first few months.
Proposed Solution
Deployment of temporary implementation support staff with a planning background.
These implementation support specialists:
support planners with schedule changes and exceptions;
support coordination between planners and implementers;
record discrepancies and missing decision rules;
help technicians use the technician app correctly;
identify challenges and suggestions for improvement based on real-world experience;
provide input to the RASP framework for further optimization of processes and system design.
Expected Effects
With the proposed support:
this creates an opportunity for planners and implementers to become familiar with the new approach;
the burden of implementation is not placed entirely on the critical capacity groups within O&S;
the new working method is actively supported and ensured;
bottlenecks, discrepancies, and missing decision rules are identified;
A targeted improvement plan will be developed to further optimize PSO, processes, and work methods.
Who are we looking for?
-> You have at least 2 to 3 years of work experience as an operations planner
-> You have strong communication skills and aren’t afraid to make phone calls
-> You identify areas for improvement and bottlenecks
