Would you like to lead projects that directly contribute to a future-proof energy grid? As an integrated project manager, you’ll be responsible from start to finish for the construction of medium- and low-voltage substations. You’ll bring people, technology, and execution together to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and successfully. This is a position for 32 to 40 hours per week. You’ll help make the grid more sustainable at Alliander.

The energy transition is impossible without you as a Project Manager for Station Construction Projects

As an integrated project manager, you are responsible for the successful completion of projects involving the construction, renovation, and expansion of medium- and low-voltage substations. You maintain an overview, reconcile the various interests both within and outside the project, and ensure that all stakeholders work together toward the same goal. In doing so, you lead the IPM team, supervise contractors, and are not afraid to make decisions when projects require it. We are building the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. As an integrated project manager, you contribute to this effort. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • developing and implementing project plans for your projects;

  • managing the engineering team;

  • working in an IPM team and fostering collaboration among all relevant disciplines;

  • monitoring the schedule, budget, quality, and safety, and steering the project toward the agreed-upon results;

  • identifying and managing risks and making decisions when situations require it;

  • coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and reconciling diverse interests;

  • supervising contractors and ensuring the successful completion of the project.

You’ll help make the grid even better at Alliander
