Mid-level Project Manager for Robotics and Drone Projects
6-month contract with an option to extend
The mid-level project manager for robotics and drone projects will be assigned to ongoing Alliander projects and potentially new projects within the sector. In this combined role, you will be responsible for project management and the implementation of organization-wide projects. You will operate independently in an environment with multiple stakeholders and interests. In addition, you will support the Technical Lead with administrative tasks and processes.
You ensure structure, progress, and substantive focus in robotics and drone projects, and link technical innovations to business value and organizational feasibility. You are a strong partner for stakeholders at both the tactical and strategic levels. And you can find a practical solution that works for all parties, even when there are competing interests.
Responsibilities
Independently responsible for the coordination, planning, and progress of projects.
Manages robot and drone projects and ensures that agreements, results, and dependencies are met.
Identifies risks and bottlenecks in a timely manner and makes adjustments as needed.
Ensures informed decision-making regarding continuation, expansion, or termination.
Actively manages stakeholder relations at the DMU level, both internally and with industry colleagues and external partners.
Weighs the various interests, builds support, and translates expectations into clear agreements.
Ensures transparent communication regarding progress, results, and lessons learned.
Profile
HBO+/WO working and thinking level.
Several years of experience in project management within a technical organization.
Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management at the tactical level (DMU, multidisciplinary teams).
An interest in robotics, drones, digitalization, or innovation in infrastructure/network management.
Able to work independently, establish structure, and facilitate decision-making.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
