Project Manager Intake

Purpose of the assignment

The contractor will assist the GVR&N Intake & Portfolio Management department in negotiating flexible contracts for large-scale customers who are on the waiting list and are currently in the intake, preparation, and/or implementation phase within GVR&N. The role is operational and supportive within the GVR&N Intake & Portfolio Management department. Reporting is directly to the team leaders of GVR&N Intake & Portfolio Management.

Location

You will work throughout Liander’s service area. We operate on a hybrid model, which in practice means you are expected to be at the office two or three days a week. Of course, you will also conduct meetings at the customer’s location.

Core tasks

  • Conducting client interviews to secure flexible contracts for clients on the waiting list
  • Explaining contract terms and conditions to customers in practical terms
  • Providing input and asking follow-up questions when presenting and contracting flexible products with clients
  • Coordinate with project managers for the GV intake and other internal stakeholders, such as Market Services, K&O, and GVR&N implementation teams
  • Ensure that contracts, client agreements, and handoffs to internal colleagues are accurately and completely documented
  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and improvement of processes and systems related to the contracting of flexible products (both in a training and operational capacity)
  • Identifying bottlenecks in implementation and developing proposals for improvement

Education and experience

  • HBO-level academic and intellectual ability
  • Experience in an operational and project management role within the energy, infrastructure, or engineering sectors
  • Experience with contracts, files, and client coordination is required
  • Experience with flexible energy products or grid congestion is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with customer interaction/customer service. 

Knowledge and skills

  • Accurate and process-oriented
  • Able to clearly explain complex information to customers
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency with systems
  • Comfortable working with multiple internal departments
  • Can work within clear guidelines without having the freedom to make independent decisions
  • Experience in process improvement

Scope of the assignment

However, this is part of the assignment:

  • Signing up existing customers on the waiting list
  • CBC-A cases that are:
    • validated via NetCheck;
    • permitted under current policy;
    • assigned to GVR&N.
  • Improving and refining related processes associated with the previous two points

Not included in the scope of work:

  • No policy development or product development.
  • No prioritization of customers or waiting lists.
  • No decision has been made on whether or not to implement CBC-A.
  • No network analyses or technical recalculations.
  • No acquisition or onboarding of new clients.

The contractor operates exclusively within existing frameworks and decisions.

Result

  • Timely and accurate documentation of CBC-A cases
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of instructions and processes
  • Relieve GV intake project managers of the burden of offering and contracting flexible products
