Activities and responsibilities

Together with the Rollout Manager and the implementation partner, you are responsible for the successful rollout of the APM/EAM (Maximo) and FSM (IFS) applications within Alliander. To this end, you will contribute to:

  • Developing use cases and test cases (happy flow and non-happy flow) in line with business requirements
  • Assist in the planning, monitoring, and execution of UAT and SIT, and guide key users through the testing process
  • Ensure that configurations and changes are properly documented
  • Mobilizing and training key users and guiding colleagues through new systems
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Go Live plan, including providing guidance to colleagues during the transition to new work processes
  • Organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and work instructions for end users; providing guidance to the key users who conduct training for end users
  • Collaborate with the BPE and process modeler to document and validate processes at levels 4–5 (drawing on system/domain knowledge)
  • Keep track of important developments within the program (via the BPE) and share them with colleagues
  • Identifying non-fits and IVS
  • Developing a go-live plan and roadmap
  • Organizing go-live meetings
  • Stay in control during the go-live
  • Coordinating the hypercare phase
  • Ensuring a smooth transition to live
  • Minimizing downtime and business impact
  • Ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to management

Requirements and preferences:

  • Minimum college level of work and thinking.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the role of (business) project manager or deployment manager on complex business transformation and IT projects.
  • Experience in monitoring progress and identifying bottlenecks in team processes in a timely manner.
  • Experience in managing team dynamics, motivation, and collaboration, fostering a positive work environment and effective communication.
  • Experience in bringing stakeholders together, managing interests, and ensuring transparency in the project.
  • Experience supporting technical and functional teams through social leadership and coaching.
  • You have experience with both Waterfall and Agile and Scrum methodologies and know how to deliver value in an iterative work environment.
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • Experience working for a Dutch network operator is preferred.

You possess the following skills:

  •  You have strong communication skills and know how to bring various stakeholders together.
  • You are a team player, but you are also capable of taking independent responsibility for your work.
  • You have a proactive attitude.
