Context
Fuse is a strategic SAP ERP transformation program in which business, IT, and implementation partners work together to implement a new SAP ERP landscape and to harmonize and optimize business processes accordingly.
The transformation goes beyond technology alone and encompasses changes in work methods, governance, processes, roles, and responsibilities. Within the program, multiple teams, suppliers, and stakeholders are working together to create a future-proof organization.
To support the Transformation Lead, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who will help teams, program components, and stakeholders successfully implement Agile practices during this SAP ERP transformation.
Assignment
The Scrum Master supports the Transformation Lead in executing the SAP ERP transformation and promotes an Agile way of working within the Fuse program.
The focus is on facilitating teams, fostering a sense of ownership, improving collaboration between business and IT, and supporting continuous improvement at the team, domain, and program levels.
The Scrum Master works closely with Technical Product Leads, Business Process Leads, SAP Solution Leads, Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and external implementation partners such as Capgemini and KPMG. In doing so, the Scrum Master supports the effective management of dependencies, risks, and impediments within a complex ERP transformation environment.
In addition to supporting the teams, the Scrum Master plays an important role in ensuring transparency regarding progress, planning, decision-making, and change management throughout the SAP implementation.
Responsibilities

• Support the Transformation Lead in implementing the SAP ERP transformation.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between business, IT, and implementation partners.
• Support the transition to new processes, work methods, and operating models.
• Promoting Agile principles within a large-scale ERP program environment.
• Help identify and mitigate risks that impact the transformation.
Team Support
• Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coaching multidisciplinary teams on Agile practices within an SAP ERP context.
• Supporting teams in achieving predictable delivery and high-quality results.
• Actively remove or escalate impediments.
• Fostering ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Be willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Program Support
• Facilitating program events, PI planning sessions, integration meetings, and inspect-and-adapt sessions.
• Provide support in managing dependencies between different SAP workstreams and teams.
• Ensuring transparency regarding progress, risks, impediments, and dependencies.
• Supporting reporting and progress monitoring at the program and steering committee levels.
• Contribute to a standardized Agile approach within the Fuse program.
Experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master within complex organizations.
• Experience with large-scale business and IT transformation programs.
• Proven experience with ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience collaborating with business, IT, and external implementation partners.
• Experience with Agile delivery in complex program environments.
• Strong knowledge of Jira
• Experience in consulting, ERP, or transformation environments is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch is required.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate understands that an SAP ERP implementation is primarily a business transformation and not merely a technology implementation. He or she has the ability to bring teams, stakeholders, and vendors together, facilitate collaboration, and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement within a complex program environment.
