Senior Agile (Team) Coach / Experienced Scrum Master for the Innovation Department at Alliander
Start Date: August 10, 2026 (ASAP)
Duration: January 31, 2027
Rate: max. €100 incl. MSP fee
Hours: 32–40 per week
Self-employed: Yes
Location: Arnhem/Duiven (Mondays and Thursdays are office days)
Screening: Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)

As an Agile Team Coach, you are responsible for agile maturity and team development, ensuring effective collaborationin a complex innovation context.
You support teams and the domain to which they belong by coaching them on behavior, collaboration, focus, and results. You encourage teams to take ownership and help them become independent, high-performing teams. You do not carry out substantive innovation tasks; rather, you ensure that the teams can excel.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
  • You will coach 2 to 3 teams at different stages of maturity: a team may be just getting started, may have been working together for a long time, or may be entering a wrap-up phase. You will facilitate work processes, rituals, and meetings that contribute to progress, effectiveness, and the achievement of stage gates.
  • You identify bottlenecks in collaboration and effectiveness early on and ensure they are resolved. Agile principles are applied in a tailored way to foster innovation: not as dogma, but as a guide. You coach innovation teams as they develop into high-performing teams.
  • You provide coaching and facilitation support to the domain to which the teams belong: from a cross-team perspective, you help foster cohesion, direction, and vision-building. You create an inspiring work environment in which teams can perform at their best.
Here's what you'll take away:
  • HBO/WO level.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, SAFe Team Coach, or in similar roles. You hold the appropriate certifications (e.g., PSM/CSM, ICAgile, ORSC).
  • You have proven experience guiding teams through their development, from the forming stage to becoming high-performing. You recognize patterns in behavior and collaboration, articulate what you observe, and intervene effectively.
  • You are skilled at designing and facilitating workshops, (agile) rituals, retrospectives, and decision-making sessions. You are able to introduce structure where it is lacking and help the team grow in this area.
  • You believe in the power of diversity and encourage different perspectives within teams. You have a collaborative, empathetic coaching style and actively contribute to a safe and inclusive team environment.
