As a Site Manager/Technical Project Manager, you’ll help build the future and work with your colleagues to deliver projects efficiently, commercially, and professionally. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all work at the high-voltage substation in the North Holland North region. This is a position for a minimum of 32 hours per week. You’ll help make the grid more complete at Alliander.

The energy transition is impossible without you as a Site Manager

As a Site Manager, you have strong technical expertise, enabling you to assess the risks involved in the work. As a member of a project team, you are responsible for the operational execution of all primary, secondary, and structural work at the high-voltage substation. As a Technical Project Leader, you oversee the execution of the project to ensure that high-voltage projects are completed in accordance with established objectives (safety, time, budget, and quality). This involves continuous coordination within the “triangle” with the Lead Engineer and Project Manager. As the HSE-U Coordinator, you are responsible for workplace safety, and by leading by example, you instill a culture of safe work practices in your team. During the design phase, you contribute to the decision-making process and begin preparing for the execution phase.

We’re building the energy grid of the future for everyone, together with everyone. And as a site manager, you’ll be part of this effort. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Monitor progress and quality and consult with your team, which consists of high-voltage specialists;
  • Managing external contractors in terms of time, cost, and quality
  • Preparing an implementation budget and schedule during the design phase
  • Involve your team during the design phase to help design and assess the feasibility of the implementation
  • Identifying risks to the schedule and budget during project execution and proposing solutions to manage those risks;
  • Monitoring compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as occupational safety and health and environmental laws, during the project implementation phase.
