As site manager, you and your colleagues will supervise the execution of high-voltage projects in order to achieve the set objectives (time, money and quality). If you don't have any experience yet, the experienced site managers will guide you to master this function, in order to grow further in the role. You will mainly work on project sites in the construction site and occasionally work together at our office in Amsterdam. This is a position for a minimum of 32 hours a week. You just make it better as site manager
As a member of a project team, you are responsible for the operational execution of all primary, secondary and construction work at the various project sites. This involves continuous coordination with the Lead Engineer and Project Manager. As VGM-U coordinator, you are responsible for safety in the workplace and with your role model you convey safe working practices to your team. During the design phase, you think and decide and you already start preparing the implementation phase. The energy network of the future will be created for everyone, with everyone. And as site manager, you will contribute to this. So you are busy with the:

• Monitor progress and quality and consult with your team;
• Creating an implementation budget and schedule and testing feasibility during the design phase.
• Directing contractors on time, money and quality;
• Identify risks to schedule and budget during the execution phase;
• Checking the safety and quality standards and Occupational Health & Safety & Environmental legislation in the execution phase of the projects;
• Reviewing and accepting work delivered;
• Informs internal and external environmental parties of the progress of the construction process or project and coordinates on work, costs and schedules;
• Prepares reports and evaluations on and provides information to project management.

And you're going to do that at our business unit Qirion. Here you will be involved in energy infrastructure and smart energy solutions. You will design, build and maintain the high-voltage grid of today and the future.

In the North Holland team, you will literally help build the future of the Dutch high-voltage connections. You certainly won't just do this from behind your desk. You will regularly be on the road and on location to coordinate with the project team, mechanics and contractors. This role is for a minimum of 32 hours per week in the service area in North Holland from the North Sea Canal to Texel, you will work at the project sites and at our office at the Basisweg in Amsterdam.

• HBO working and thinking level, with education in areas such as technical business administration, electrical engineering or construction;
• At least 3 years of experience in a (highly) technical work environment in a similar role.
• Preferably knowledge of KEB/BEI;
• Willingness to take professional training courses;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and is able to organize and plan (or have planned) activities well.
