Ecology Specialist
You will do this at Qterra, part of Alliander, in the role of Ecology Specialist. You will ensure that projects are prepared smoothly so that Alliander can realize its strategy. This is a position for a minimum of 32 hours per week, based at our office in Arnhem and from home. You will make Alliander even more professional.
The energy transition is impossible without you as a Senior Ecology Specialist.
At Qterra, we believe in smart choices based on data. As a Senior Ecology Specialist, you will work on risk-driven decision-making within the field of ecology. You will prevent unnecessary costs and delays by only conducting research when it is truly necessary. With sharp analyses, you will lay the foundation for efficient project preparation and successful implementation.
We are creating the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a Senior Ecology Specialist, you will be contributing to this. Your responsibilities will include:
We divide ecology into nitrogen/Natura 2000, area protection (including NNN areas), species protection, and trees.
You make it just that little bit more complete at Alliander

With a large club of professionals, we develop and manage the energy network for millions of residents and entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. Everything we do, we do with an eye for the people who rely on us: our customers. And thanks to our talents, we have full confidence in the energy future of the Netherlands. Together with you, we make the energy transition possible, for and with our customers.
And you will be doing that at our business unit Qterra. Qterra is a young company with currently 95 employees that is developing and growing rapidly. Qterra is currently transitioning from project preparation in the field of contaminated soil to broader environmental consulting. You will join a team of specialists in various fields (soil, explosive remnants of war, archaeology, water, and ecology).
You make it more energetic
