Sr. Consultant HR - Change Management

You're passionate about leading organizational changes! As a Change Management Consultant, you have a clear vision and passion for this field. And more importantly, you want to apply this passion within our company. For this HR role, we're looking for a fresh perspective and an analytical approach to change management. This position is for a minimum of 32 hours per week, based in Arnhem. You'll make things easier at Alliander.

The energy transition is impossible without you as a HR Change Management Consultant

As a Consultant, you'll focus on complex areas of focus. You'll advise on strategic and tactical issues, provide guidance, and bear ultimate responsibility for results and relationships with significant risk. You'll be a sparring partner for the board and management. You'll also explicitly focus on and visibly contribute to Alliander's transformation, proactively identifying potential for improvement. We're building the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a Change Management Consultant, you'll contribute to this. For example, you'll be involved in:

  • advising on changes with a significant impact on employees and the organization.
  • developing change approaches and ensuring proper implementation.
  • applying the Alliander change standards (including ADKAR/PROSCI) when implementing changes.
  • act as a sparring partner in strategic and tactical change processes.
  • developing the Change Management Handbook and sharing best practices.

The position can be configured as a hybrid role, and we believe it's important to work together at our Arnhem office, where you'll meet your colleagues. But you can also work from home. Naturally, we'll provide the right facilities for your home office.

  • University working and thinking level (Business Administration, HRM or similar) with 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience.

  • extensive experience with transformation processes in complex environments
  • extensive knowledge and experience with change management (Prosci is a plus)
  • combining an analytical approach with operational execution.

As a person you also bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with resistance in large organizations
  • Stakeholder management skills such as listening and processing feedback
  • Organizational sensitivity
  • Acting on different interests
  • Being able to involve people in the change story
  • Finding and seeking connections
  • Coaching approach towards individuals, teams and organisations.
