Accounts payable team leader
In this assignment you will be responsible for the operational management, implementation of changes and continuous improvement of processes of the Accounts Payable team. You have managerial experience in coaching people, helping where necessary, in such a way that employees develop sustainably, perform optimally and thereby make a maximum contribution to the ambitious financial and organizational goals.
You are able to analyze and improve the Chain Process from Ordering to Payment (Purchase to Pay, P2P). There are clear objectives in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and quality of this process. Knowledge of and experience with operational (financial) administrative processes in a complex environment is a requirement for this assignment. You will perform this work in the dynamics of the system transition in which Alliander is adapting the ERP landscape.
A 2nd facet of this assignment is to co-write and realize a Roadmap for the P2P chain to achieve a future-proof setup. Your strategic insight will help you develop a long-term vision and realize objectives. You do not do this from the sidelines, you participate, advise, inform, implement and represent. Experience with change processes and in leading improvement projects is therefore important.
As team leader Accounts Payable, you will report hierarchically to the Manager Financial Service Center (FSC) and be part of the MT FSC. You give hierarchical leadership to the team (permanent and hired) Accounts Payable. Our team consists of about 15 hardworking and loyal colleagues and has an executive nature.
In other words, it's not a standard assignment "minding the store. It is an assignment in which your leadership qualities are important to complete the assignment well and your knowledge and experience in the P2P chain process will help the team do the job well even after your assignment.
You have:
HBO+/WO working and thinking level.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge of and experience with operational financial administrative processes in a complex environment.
- Experience analyzing and improving the chain process from Ordering to Payment (Purchase to Pay, P2P)
- Knowledge of and experience with the ERP system SRP/S4
- Knowledge of relevant organizational processes.
- Experience with change projects.
