Role description and task arrangements

Team leader measurement specialists (Haarlem/Leiden region location)

Hours: 32 - 40 hours
Location: Haarlem/Amsterdam/Leiden (you will work alternately at different locations in the North Holland region)
Start date: no later than November 1, 2025
Maximum Rate: € 105 including MSP fee

Scope and size:
- Gives hierarchical leadership to a homogeneous team with specialist professional nature of executive nature.
- Manages employees with MBO and/or HBO working and thinking levels.
- Short- and possibly medium-term goals.

Optimize work processes:
- Realizes and monitors the implementation of plans, based on global guidelines.
- Identifies bottlenecks and problems in working methods and procedures, makes improvement proposals and implements them.
- Shares responsibility for an integrated and structured approach to change adoption within the team.

Responsibility and decision-making authority:
- Is authorized to make decisions on the implementation of goals of its own component within established frameworks.
- Manages budgets and identifies variances.
- Has decision-making authority with operational medium risk of harm.

Stakeholder management:
- Advises, negotiates and/or defends plans at the operational level where divergent and opposing interests must be bridged.
- Creates support, influences and convinces in in and external consultations (e.g. from MT membership).
- Has mandate and responsibility for outcomes within established frameworks in internal and external consultations at the operational level.

As a team leader, you understand better than anyone that the speed of fault handling is important for customers and has an impact on our service. Together with your team, you implement new techniques and promote digitalization with the aim of preventing breakdowns and optimizing processes.

In this you proactively include your team and challenge them to make it part of their day-to-day work. You are responsible for the further development and necessary culture change within your team consisting of 11 FTE.

We are creating the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as Team Leader, you will be working on this. You are busy with the:

    • Translate Alliander's ambition and annual plan into KPIs and possible improvements for your team;
    • Looking for ways to optimize implementation processes across regions;
    • communicate with internal and external stakeholders to create support for your (improvement) plans;
    • Ensure close cooperation with fellow team leaders;
    • Develop, mentor and coach your team.

Because your team works all over the region, your location depends on where you live. Think Haarlem, Leiden or Amsterdam.

    • college education in the direction of Electrical Engineering or Measurement and Control Engineering.
