That’s what you’ll do as a high-voltage systems technician in the Amsterdam–'tGooi region. It’s a responsible and challenging role. Every day, you’ll learn something new while helping to build a sustainable future. This is a 40-hour-per-week position. You’ll help make the grid safer at Alliander. The energy transition is impossible without you as a high-voltage technician—maintaining and further improving various electrical installations.
You’ll do this at all kinds of substations. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that installations ranging from 10 kV to 150 kV operate properly. This includes performing switching operations and participating in the on-call service. And there are plenty of opportunities for career advancement—think of roles such as technical specialist or supervisor. We’re building the energy grid of the future for everyone, together with everyone. And as a high-voltage technician, you’ll be part of this effort.

- Performing maintenance work on electrical systems.
