You will be working for Team Orbit in ART Ontketend (ART Unleashed) within the Alliander Digitization Program. This team is responsible for managing a wide range of services and applications used by a broad spectrum of colleagues. Our ambition is to ensure that everyone who uses our applications and services can do their work without any worries.  

We offer you challenging work within a complex IT landscape, where you will be working at the intersection of data, processes, and technology. We are looking for a motivated Technical Application Manager, who is preferably also familiar with installing, configuring, and managing desktop applications. Given the great importance of this, quality, stability, and security are our top priorities. Among other things, we are responsible for the technical management of packages such as AutoDesk's 3D suite and AutoCAD 2D suite, which engineers use to design our gas and electricity networks, including installations and stations. Team Orbit works in an Agile manner in combination with ITIL. 

Your duties 

You will work in a team that actively collaborates with internal and external suppliers, customers, and clients. Your duties will include: 

• installing, configuring, and managing desktop applications  

• building packages for distributing desktop applications 

• conducting risk and impact analyses for changes or new applications  

• contributing ideas and implementing new techniques and/or security measures  

• manage and report on efficient use of licenses

• HBO working and thinking level with a solid IT background; 

• You have at least 3 years of experience as an application administrator; 

• Service-oriented attitude 

• You enjoy working in a team as well as completing tasks independently. 

You have experience with 

• Measuring, calculation, and drawing tools such as AutoDesk and Phase to Phase products 

• Testing and testing methodologies 

• Managing activities and further developing existing systems and processes 

• ITIL methodology and agile working method 

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience with 

• Cloud (AWS, Azure) 

• Geographic Information Systems 

• Utilities such as electricity and gas networks 

• IT infrastructure
