In this role, you will be the key figure in identifying the causes of outages and failures of grid components, where your determination and persuasiveness are crucial to ensuring that investigation conclusions are validated and communicated throughout the organization.
The energy transition is impossible without you as a claims investigator at Techniek & Kennis
As a Technical Specialist, you will work closely with your fellow specialists and oversee first-line claims investigations. You will be responsible for:
Conducting and overseeing claims investigations, while staying on top of developments and monitoring progress.
Comprehensive and systematic documentation of all research findings, ensuring they are transparent and accessible to all stakeholders.
Preparing clear reports in which you not only present facts but also draw clear conclusions and communicate them effectively within Alliander.
Scheduling studies and engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth research process.
Collecting and organizing all relevant information that supports and enriches the research.
Optimizing logistics processes related to damage investigations.
You complete the grid at Alliander
Did you know that Alliander is made up of several companies? Together with Liander, Qirion, Qterra, Dep, Firan, and Entrnce, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of people in the Netherlands. And with the current energy transition, that’s hard work. We do this with the help of over 8,000 professionals. Thanks to these talented individuals, we have every confidence in the Netherlands’ energy future. Together with you, we make that possible.
And you’ll be doing that at our Liander division. Here, you’ll share responsibility for the management and maintenance of energy networks, such as electricity and gas. You’ll be working alongside approximately 3,000 colleagues. This is how we supply energy to households, businesses, and other customers.
A mindset where only the best is good enough is only possible if you have enough energy. And the right work environment gives you that. The Maintenance & Outages department consists of friendly and helpful colleagues. The damage investigation team is a small group of motivated and talented professionals who work together to make the grid safer for the future.
You make it even more energetic
The energy transition calls for people who aren’t afraid of a challenge and who can defend their positions with conviction. As a Technical Specialist, you’re not only a subject matter expert, but you also have the personality to effectively present research findings and embed them within Alliander. Are you direct, transparent, and able to make an impact with your knowledge and reports? Great! Especially if you also have:
A completed associate's degree, preferably in a technical field.
Experience with damage investigations, technical reports, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Dutch)
A strong-willed individual who is steadfast in communicating research findings.
A high degree of independence; you are able to work well on your own.
Attention to detail and the importance of careful documentation and reporting.
