The energy transition is impossible without you as a civil engineer

You’ll oversee the civil engineering work that contractors perform on behalf of Liander. You’ll monitor these projects for quality, timeliness, and safety. To do this, you’ll maintain contact with various stakeholders—such as the municipality, the contractor, the client, and people in the surrounding area. If you identify areas for improvement, you’ll discuss them with the contractor. You’ll also consult regularly with the Engineering department during the design and preparation phases. You’ll carry out these tasks independently, under the supervision of a technical supervisor. We’re building the energy grid of the future for everyone, together with everyone. And as a civil works supervisor, you’ll play a part in this. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise, guide and monitor the execution of civil works. In doing so, you pay attention to planning, budget and guidelines.
• Organize all necessary consultations with governments, clients and contractors.
• Applying the necessary safety, health and environmental provisions.
• Administer and report such things as hours worked, deviations in material usage and results.
• Taking care of the final delivery and aftercare of the project. And involve the necessary parties in the process.

• At least a technical mbo 3 diploma.
• VOP-LS and VOP-MS designations, or willingness to obtain them.

• You will be working in the Gelderland region and are willing to travel within that region.
