Maintaining the high quality of our civil engineering work. That is what you do as a civil engineering supervisor at Liander in the Arnhem region. A coordinating role with a high level of responsibility. This is a position for 36 to 40 hours per week. You will make the grid more professional at Alliander.

The energy transition is impossible without you as a civilian implementer

You direct the civil works that contractors perform on behalf of Liander. And you check them for quality, timeliness and safety. To this end, you maintain contact with various stakeholders. For example, the municipality, contractor, customer and people in the area. Do you see areas for improvement? Then you discuss them with the contractor. You also regularly consult with the Engineering Department during the design and preparation phase. You carry out this work independently, under the responsibility of a technical supervisor. We are creating the energy network of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a civil engineer, you will contribute to this. So you are busy with the:

• Supervise, guide and monitor the execution of civil works. In doing so, you pay attention to planning, budget and guidelines.
• Organize all necessary consultations with governments, clients and contractors.
• Applying the necessary safety, health and environmental provisions.
• Administer and report such things as hours worked, deviations in material usage and results.
• Taking care of the final delivery and aftercare of the project. And involve the necessary parties in the process.
