Keep the quality of our civil work high. That's what you'll do as Engineering Manager Civil at Liander in the Apeldoorn and surrounding region. A supervisory position with great responsibility within the LS Neighborhood Approach project. It is a position for 32-40 hours per week. You will make the net more professional at Alliander.

The Energy Transition is impossible without you as a Civil Engineer

You will direct, monitor and control the safety, quality and timeliness of the civil work of the contractors performing work on behalf of Liander for the LS Neighborhood Approach. You are the eyes and ears of the Liander Project Team LS Neighborhood Approach. You will do this in consultation with the Technical Manager and the WV-er of the project.

To this end, you will maintain contact with various people involved in the work. For example, Liander colleagues, people working for the municipality, the contractor, customers and people in and around the area. You will do this in the Veluwe, 't Gooi, Flevoland (VGF) region.

Do you see areas for improvement? You will discuss these with the contractor, customers and Liander's Technical Manager and WV manager. You will also be involved in consultations with the engineers during the preparation and design phase in order to arrive at the most feasible route.

You will perform this work independently, under the responsibility of a Technical Manager or WV-er. The energy network of the future will be built for everyone, with everyone. And as a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to this.

That's how you're doing it:

• Risk-driven supervision, guidance and monitoring of the execution of civil works. In doing so, you pay attention to planning, budget and guidelines/requirements;

• Attend relevant consultations with governments, clients and contractors;

• Supervise the use of the necessary safety, health and environmental facilities necessary to perform the civil work within the applicable laws and regulations;

• Inform and report on any schedule or material deviations;

• final delivery of the project in consultation with the parties required for this purpose.
