Quality and safety. That’s what you stand for. As an experienced electrical engineering supervisor at Liander in Amsterdam, you’ll keep the power grid safe and operational. A challenging leadership role that combines technical expertise with interpersonal skills. This is a position for 32 to 40 hours per week. You’ll help make the grid safer at Liander. 

The energy transition is impossible without you as an electrical engineering technician 

You will be in charge of various electrical engineering projects in the Amsterdam region. In this role, you will manage several junior and mid-level project supervisors working on different projects simultaneously. In addition, you’ll supervise contractors who have contracts in your work area. Together with your team of technicians, you’ll resolve outages safely and as quickly as possible. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the Liander grid, while keeping track of all ongoing work. We’re building the energy grid of the future for everyone, together with everyone. And as an electrical engineering supervisor, you’ll play a key role in this effort. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Ensuring the quality and safety of the power grid and your colleagues. 

• Maintain contact with customers, contractors, and colleagues. In doing so, you communicate clearly and manage expectations. 

• developing work and sequencing plans, organizing the main aspects of implementation, and ensuring quality control. 

• collaborate with various internal and external parties. 

• participate in on-call and emergency response shifts.

• an MBO 4 diploma in electrical engineering. 

• Qualifications relevant to the position. Minimum BEI-WV LS certification (MS certification is preferred) 

• Demonstrable leadership and management experience in a role as a site supervisor/foreman. 

• Experience in developing work and safety plans.
