The Site Supervisor works within Alliander’s project delivery chains and thus has a direct impact on the experience of customers and end users when it comes to the safety, reliability, and quality of the energy supply. Site Supervisors may be assigned to various projects and, in doing so, as well as the role of LS/MS Work Supervisor in accordance with the BEI. The number of projects may vary. Depending on their scope, this can range from 1 or a few large projects to 20 smaller projects per day. The position operates (if applicable)
on call and on standby duty (during and/or outside office hours).

The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing and ensuring the successful completion of technical and/or civil engineering projects at project sites and provides functional and operational leadership to the relevant (internal and external) tradespeople. The Site Supervisor prepares the work, coordinates the overall plan, and coordinates with all relevant parties (team, site, and project managers). The Site Supervisor ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with the relevant (safety) requirements and guidelines.

Profile: Versatile and skilled project manager for more complex projects; provides guidance and advice. Mentor. 

Knowledge and experience:
- Minimum MBO+ working and thinking level
- Has a good understanding of the interrelationship between the various aspects of an assignment
- Holds the required BEI ratings: WV Distribution LS and MS (not only the theory portion, but also the practical training and flight hours)

Job Description

The Electrical Supervisor within the Supervisor job series has the following result areas:
1. Preparing Work
a. Preparing the implementation of work plans, including a realistic schedule, so that they can be carried out safely and in accordance with the agreements made.
2. Ensuring Safety
a. Ensuring safety during the execution of assigned tasks; relevant regulations and procedures are followed, including those regarding required instructions and authorizations.
b. Contributing to raising safety awareness among internal and external colleagues.
3. Coordination of grid-related technical work
a. Completion of the work according to schedule and quality and safety requirements.
b. Clear and effective communication with and supervision of colleagues and external parties regarding the execution of the work.
c. Constructive and goal-oriented collaboration during execution.
4. Evaluating and monitoring work
a. Timely adjustments to the work as needed.
b. Useful project evaluation and reporting, complete and shared with all stakeholders.
5. Maintaining contacts
a. All stakeholders are properly informed, and coordination has taken place when necessary.
b. Stakeholders are kept informed in a timely manner of the progress of the work and any special circumstances.
6. Coaching and training colleagues
a. Transfer of relevant knowledge to colleagues.
b. Effective feedback sessions and follow-up.
7. Work Supervisor (designation in accordance with BEI/VIAG)
a. Execution of work in compliance with all applicable guidelines.

Difficulty of the work:
- Independently manages multiple jobs/shifts simultaneously with larger teams (>8 team members).
- Leads the execution of typically more complex projects at the LS/MS level, characterized by a large project budget (in euros), broader scope, and higher risk of disruption.
- In the event of emergencies, deviations, or malfunctions, independently analyzes the (network) situation (and/or safety) with little to no fallback options.
- Maintains an overview of the entire project and proactively contributes ideas regarding risks and quality.
- Monitors and updates the supply chain schedule, identifying bottlenecks in a timely manner.

Decision-making authority:
- Independently consults on technical aspects, both during preparation and in the event of deviations, and anticipates risks and opportunities.
- In the event of unforeseen (complex) work, requests, or disruptions, makes the appropriate choice regarding a specific approach (and associated costs). Coordinates as needed.
- If a safety officer (WV): advises on measures to be taken and sanctions in the event of safety risks.

Professional development:
- Acts as a mentor/instructor.
- Discusses the learning attitudes and development prospects of colleagues/professionals, thereby contributing to their development.

Nature and purpose of interactions:
- Conducts substantive (preparatory) consultations with relevant parties (such as municipalities),
